January 2010 Performance Statistics
The following graph depicts the (Standard and Poor's) investment grade ratings of bonds held by the LGIP and LGIP-GOV pools as of January 31, 2010. Of approximately $4.2 billion combined balance, 86% of the securities held by the pools were rated AAA, the highest possible long-term investment rating. Additionally, 2% of the securities were rated A1+ or A1, which are the two highest possible short-term investment ratings. Most of the remaining securities were rated A- or better.
