The Board of Investment
Article X, Section 7 of the Arizona State Constitution requires the Legislature to create a Board of Investment to serve as trustees of the Permanent Land Trust Funds. The Legislature constituted the Board of Investment pursuant to A.R.S. 35-311, and designated the membership of the Board to be the State Treasurer, the Director of the Department of Administration, the State Banking Superintendent, and two other individuals appointed by the Treasurer. The State Treasurer serves as Chairman.
The Board of Investment is responsible for reviewing the investment of state monies, serving as trustees of the Permanent Land Trust Funds, and approval of the State Treasurer’s Office Investment Policy.
Meetings of the State Board of Investment are held monthly and are open to the public. Notice of future meetings are posted in advance pursuant to the Arizona Open Meetings Law.
All Board of Investment meetings are held in the executive conference room of the Arizona State Treasurer's Office, 1700 W. Washington, Phoenix, AZ 85007.
