Per A.R.S. 35-135(F), the Arizona State Treasurer’s Office (ASTO) contracts for merchant card services.

 

Fiserv was awarded as the State’s merchant services contract for a term of three years, with two one-year extensions, effective 08/07/2023. This contract makes it possible for the State to accept and collect card payments from major networks like Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

* Interchange charges from the card brand are pass-through and are additional to the above rates.

 

 

 

Fiserv Managed Service Fee Program

 

Fiserv also offers a Managed Service Fee Program.  The Managed Service Fee Program is a service where Fiserv collects a service fee from the card holder and pays the merchant processing fees. The agency retains the full transaction amount.
