Public Information and Record Requests

Please review this list prior to filling out the online form to ensure that your records request is directed to the right agency. We receive many requests for records that the Office of the Arizona State Treasurer does not have because they belong to a different state agency or local government. We have compiled a list of common topics that are handled at other local government agencies and in some cases, available online.

  • Unclaimed Property – available through the Arizona Department of Revenue

  • Property Information – available through the county or city government where the property is located

  • Arizona State Retirement System - available through AZASRS

  • Public Safety Personnel Retirement System - available through PSPRS

  • Agency Budget Information and Planning - available through the Governor's Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting

  • Legislative Budget Public Records - available through the Joint Legislative Budget Committee (JLBC)

  • Public Records of any Arizona State Representative – available through the Arizona State Legislature

  • Public Utilities – available through the city government where the property is located

  • Court Records – available through the county or city government where it occurred

If your request is not covered in the above topics, you may use the online public records request form through the Office of the Arizona State Treasurer.
